YOU'RE (pl.) is a genre bending project based in Brooklyn, NY, lead by YOU'RE (singular.)
YOU'RE is an ethnomusicologist by trade who creates art that reflects the cultures around her and the part history plays in molding our futures. Her work is experimental in nature, blending influences from folk, jazz, ambient, dark indie, noise, afro-futurism, and more.
After spending years as a vocalist and composer, YOU'RE ventured into interdisciplinary work, often performing with accompanying visual art or movement artists. With interdisciplinary performance pieces that have been performed in cities like London (Tate Modern), New Orleans, and Montreal, YOU'RE is always looking to blur the lines of art to better explore the full picture of a particular perspective.
She was most recently an artist-in-residence at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, and is a 2026 New Music USA Creator Fund Awardee.
